The accreditation of Ambassador Lukman Faily to Germany

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, His Excellency Ambassador Lukman Abdul Rahim Al-Faily presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Federal Republic of Germany.

His Excellency presented copies of the credentials to Mr. (Felix Schwarz), Head of the Protocol Department at the German Foreign Ministry, and the ceremony of handing over the letters to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany will be held at a date to be determined later.

It is worth noting that His Excellency Ambassador Al-Faily is the fourth ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Germany after 2003, and was named by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, to succeed the retired Ambassador, Mr. Dia'a Hadi Al-Dabbas.

His Excellency Ambassador Lukman Abdul Rahim Al-Faily has previously held many positions in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including his administration and supervision of the North, South America and the Caribbean Department, the Legal Department, and his supervision of the office of the Minister, and His Excellency was named by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the United States of America and Japan.
